This self-portrait takes place in a representation of one of my childhood living rooms. It is very internalized, peacefully uncomfortable and in everpresent limbo. It was as simple as just tracing what I saw. Meanwhile, I could see typeface everywhere! I just had to look hard and think outside the box. For instance, a few roads from above turn out to look like a lowercase “e”. Equally an airport landing strip can resemble a lower case “l” and in it’s full arrangement can resemble an “x”.
